About Scribe

A note from the Founder

When Scribe was founded, the goal was simple: to help nonprofits access the funding they deserve by telling their stories with clarity and impact.

Over time, one challenge became consistent.

Under-resourced teams are expected to navigate increasingly complex funding landscapes while continuing to lead programs, manage operations, and serve their communities.

This work exists to help lift that burden.

Support provides:

  • strategic guidance

  • structured systems

  • clear positioning

Every organization has a powerful story.

The work is helping ensure it is seen, understood, and funded in a way that drives the mission forward.

A strategic approach to nonprofit funding

Scribe partners with nonprofits to secure the funding needed to sustain and grow their impact.

Support is designed to meet each organization’s unique needs while strengthening how funding is approached over time.

The focus is not only on securing funding, but on building systems that sustain it.

Since 2011, work has included:

  • grant strategy

  • funding research

  • proposal development

  • capacity-building support

More than grant writing

Nonprofit leaders are often navigating:

  • limited time and internal capacity

  • increasing competition for funding

  • growing expectations around reporting and compliance

This creates pressure to manage everything internally while still delivering results.

A system, not a series of tasks

Funding becomes more effective when readiness, research, strategy, and lifecycle management are aligned and managed together.

This ensures that funding efforts are:

  • consistent

  • structured

  • sustainable over time

Organizations move from:

  • reactive, deadline-driven grant work to

  • structured, proactive funding systems

This work often functions as an extension of your team or as an external grants department.
